Tom has been involved in the mapping industry since 1986. Starting with the Department of Defense in St. Louis. Experienced in large scale engineering mapping for design as well as smaller scale mapping for ortho-photos and less detailed mapping projects. Familiar with many mapping and engineering softwares including AutoCad, CadMap, ArcView and KLT/Atlas. Runs daily operations of company, including production. Projects include large scale detailed mapping projects used by engineers for design, ortho-rectified digital aerial photos, flood plain mapping of river corridors, open pit mines for reclamation and volume calculations as well as plan mapping of as-built information. Submits proposals for new contracts and layout flight lines for aerial photos and ground control locations for surveyors.
Mark Knight- Production
Extensive knowledge of the Aero Triangulation process. A.T. flight and control layout, prepping, pugging, observing with AP32 software. Adjustments made with Pat-B GPS and Kenific software. A.T. final reports. Worked for 6yrs on U.S.G.S. A.T. contracts for Orthophoto updates of the United States.
Compilation and manual contouring of small and large scale mapping projects. Corridor mapping, Cross Section and Profiling, Volumetric computationS for mining projects, and DTM for contour generation.
Russell Monks-Production Supervisor
Russ has over 35 years experience in the geo-spatial industry. He is responsible for quality control as well as map production.

Cartographic Edge was established in 1997 and remains a client-focused mapping firm, committed to producing the best geospatial products at the most competitive price. Our digital photogrammetric services range from large-scale (1"=20') engineering design to high flown Ortho-Imagery for general planning purposes.
We produce high-quality imagery from aerial photography, digital airborne scanners, and LiDAR. We provide Planimetric, Topographic, Digital Terrain Model, TIN, and geo-referenced Ortho-Imagery. Your project will be flown by an aerial company that is close to your project site. This will help keep your project costs low and provide the best and highest resolution imagery available.
Our customers include Utility Companies, Municipalities, Mining Companies, DOT, Land Developers, Landfills and Government entities. However most of our calls from local surveyors and engineers who recognize the job is to be done on the ground.
CEI did a great job mapping Denver Water’s nine-mile pipeline corridor from Ralston Reservoir to the Moffat Treatment Plant.
They provided planimetrics and one-foot contours for the route and were flexible and responsive in delivering the mapping to our requirements and CAD standards.

The route was flown on July 12th and the mapping was delivered on August 17th allowing us to meet our design schedule.
Because of their efficient response time, quality work, and professional attitude I would recommend CEI for future mapping projects

Del-Mont Consultants has a long history of working with Tom Emanuel and Cartographic Edge. We have always found the work to be timely and thorough. We have a good working relationship, and will continue to use Cartographic Edge for our aerial mapping needs. Some of the notable projects are:
2008 Lovell, Wyoming to Yellowtail, Montana 115 kv transmission line. This consisted of 45 miles of transmission line aerial mapping and LiDAR acquisition of a 1,000 foot wide corridor for new power line construction.
2008 West Transmission Waterline Replacement, Orchard City, CO. Project consisted of aerial mapping of the 12 mile long West Transmission waterline route.
2010 Central Wyoming 115 kv transmission line, from Miracle Mile on the North Platte to the Dave Johnson Power Plant. This consisted of 91 miles of transmission line aerial mapping and LiDAR acquisition of a 1,000 foot wide corridor for new power line construction.
2011 Lovell, Wyoming to Basin, Wyoming 115 kv transmission line. This consisted of 40 miles of transmission line aerial mapping and LiDAR acquisition of a 1,000 foot wide corridor for new power line construction,
